چکیده
Abalone ( Haliotis discus hannai Ino) is one of the most vital economic shellfish cultured in China. However, bacterial and viral infection often leads to its high mortality serious losses. In this study, transcriptome sequencing was performed on gill abalone challenged by Vibrio parahaemolyticus for 0 h (control group, A0h), 8 (A8h), 48 (A48h), respectively. Each library has an average 53,361,675 clean reads. Approximately 85.71% reads were mapped reference genome Ino. comparison with A0h 7,656 2,789 genes differentially expressed A8h A48h groups, The (DEGs) mostly enriched oxidation–reduction process oxidoreductase activity from GO analysis as well immunity metabolism-related pathways Kyoto Encyclopedia Genes Genomes analysis. Cluster demonstrated that all DEGs categorized into eight subclusters adopting gene expression model. Specifically, a total 1,070 significantly downregulated two clusters related some metabolic pathways, ABC transporters, cell adhesion. Moreover, 212 upregulated subcluster several immune-related including nucleotide-binding oligomerization domain (NOD)-like receptor signaling pathway apoptosis. Some members pattern recognition receptors family, which can initiate inflammatory induce apoptosis, stimulated upregulate after challenge C1q, perlucin, low-density lipoprotein receptor–related protein. addition, caspase-dependent apoptosis inactive, whereas caspase-independent stimulating response challenge. To eliminate invading pathogen, immune effectors such interleukin-17, matrix metalloproteinase, lysozyme, superoxide, ferritin also gill. study provides more information comprehending defense mechanisms against V. abalone.

Isolation, identification, and antioxidant activity of polysaccharides from the shell of abalone (Haliotis discus hannai Ino).
In this study, two antioxidative substances, a homogeneous polysaccharide [abalone shell polysaccharide (ASP-1), corresponding to the first peak by size exclusion chromatography] and a non-polysaccharide compound [abalone shell compound (ACS-2), corresponding to the second peak by size exclusion chromatography], were extracted from the abalone (Haliotis discus hannai Ino) shell. We primarily fo...

In this study, we aimed at characterizing the structure and the anticoagulant activity of a polysaccharide fraction (AGP33) isolated from the gonads of Haliotis discus hannai Ino. AGP33 was extracted by enzymatic hydrolysis and purified by ion-exchange and gel-filtration chromatography. The backbone fraction of AGP33 (BAGP33), which appeared to contain of mannose, glucose and galactose, was pre...
